„WATER IS TAUGHT BY THIRST”

„Water is taught by thirst” is a lyrical visual narrative on the transformative, symbolic element of water.
The beginning of material existence is connected to the element of water in almost every culture and these topics can be found in the most ancient traditions of humanity: primordial water, the water of life, fetal water, the fertilizing celestial water, water as the means of purification, and the element of regeneration or rebirth. Water as archetypal image holds the totality which contains everything, the possibility of existence and in this capacity as a symbol is connected to the feminine principle.

In my series water appears as an allegorical component, as the accompanying element of important and deeply personal experiences of my life: death, loss, moving, so in this function water became a symbolic carrier of transformation processes, feelings and change itself.
